MarketLink for Salesforce Admins Should Do These 2 Things Every Week

Once your weekly MarketLink for Salesforce job is scheduled to run, updates will automatically populate in Salesforce for your users. To make sure you take advantage of these updates, we recommend spending a few minutes each week doing the following:

1. Review your email MARKETLINK UPDATE: Your ISS - Institutional Shareholder Services Synchronization Job Results Are Ready.

This email will indicate how many existing records linked to ISS - Institutional Shareholder Services or went inactive, and how many new records were created. It will also indicate any errors and, if so, provide an attached spreadsheet detailing them so you can investigate further.

2. Go to VIEW NEW RECORDS in Salesforce and add new Accounts, Contacts or Leads.

After the weekly job completes log into Salesforce, go to the ISS - Institutional Shareholder Services Mapping tab and then click VIEW NEW RECORDS. You will be presented with firms and reps that match your audience criteria. Review the list and select which to add as new Accounts, Contacts, or Leads.
